Equipment
The 'Bleeder Bag' concept was developed by a military medic. As well as the following bleed control equipment, we can also tailor solutions to your specific needs (contact us for tailor made solutions):
BACKED BY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS
"I have witnessed first hand the devastating effects of knives, guns and improvised explosive devices. This equipment should be widely accessible much like public access defibrillators for medical cardiac arrest and training should be available to all members of the public. This life saving equipment can be used by anyone to stop catastrophic bleeding and prolong life before the arrival of the emergency services.
I have deployed to four different war zones and used the equipment found in the Bleeder Bag to save lives both in the UK and overseas."
Lt Col Chris Smith | Emergency Medicine Consultant | UK Armed Forces & Great North Air Ambulance
"Working in many different environments has taught me that your treatment priority doesn't change. Major bleeding control is a skill that has to be implemented within seconds and will decide whether a patient lives or dies. Unfortunately it is a skill that seems to be overlooked or not performed well, especially in the civilian sector.
The kit in the Bleeder Bag has been proven to work under harsh conditions and can be applied by anyone with basic training in its use."
